Pattern: Style # 1274
Fabric: an old Ralston gown – blue/green/white large print.
Pattern comments: this pattern is a size 12 and I am a size 10 so there was a certain amount of adjustment required around the bust. even now I think it needs to be pulled in at the back a bit.
Fabric/Pattern mix: I can’t remember off the top of my head what fabric the pattern recommends, but if i was to make this again I would use a more floaty fabric. I think the dress would look better if it clung a bit more around the body. the fabric i used is a bit too stiff. However overall I am quite happy and have worn the dress many times since finishing it last year.
