This year I am getting ahead on the christmas craftiness. The piles of coordinated fabric have started to turn into useable items! These are the Origami bags from Amy Butler’s Style Stitches: 12 easy ways to 26 Wonderful bags – I have made sizes, x-small, small and medium. While there are probably numerous free tutorials on the interwebs to make these bags, I bought the book more for the other larger bag patterns as I love to make bags, but rarely do they turn out as I want. Further I don’t really have the time to draft up patterns, so for $35 this book is a good investment for me.
The new problem however is deciding on who to give these to, as while I really like the fabric combos I’m not sure that everyone else will. Thankfully i still have 2 months to decide!
